About Environmental Power: Environmental Power is a $70 million company that develops, owns and operates renewable energy production facilities. Its principal operating subsidiary, Microgy, Inc., holds an exclusive license in North America for the development and deployment of a proprietary anaerobic digestion technology for the generation of methane gas from animal and other wastes.
Challenge: Though Environmental Power enjoyed broad awareness in the agricultural space (primarily among dairy farmers), the company wanted to reposition itself as a major player in the field of renewable energy.
Strategy: Since many of Environmental Power’s senior executives hail from traditional energy companies, Ricochet leveraged their backgrounds to place these figures in speaking platforms pertaining to “the future” of the global energy industry and the transition toward renewables.
Results: A large audience of Wall Street energy industry analysts, as well as potential investors and partners, attended high profile speeches delivered by senior figures from Environmental Power, helping the company to reposition itself. Events booked for Environmental Power included some of the most important energy industry conferences and conventions in the US, such as IDC Energy Insights, Power-Gen Renewable Energy & Fuels, and National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) Industry Growth Forum.
