Our mission is to create the industry's most intelligent and inspired PR professionals. To do this, we created the Ricochet Professional Studies Program™, an in-house program of study which assures our clients that even the most junior members of their account team have the expertise of a seasoned PR professional.

After passing a rigorous writing test, new employees at Ricochet PR are placed in one of three practice areas: healthcare, technology or industry. While true PR and industry veterans might test out of the Ricochet Professional Studies Program™, most new employees to our company, even those with specialized degrees in fields such as neuroscience or engineering, must study for weeks or months the fields in which they will be working before joining any account team.

New members of our Healthcare Group, for example, study topics such as drug discovery and development, FDA oversight, relevant public policy and the many trends driving headlines throughout the industry. Simultaneously, Ricochet CEO and founder Todd Aydelotte personally trains each employee on the agency's proprietary approach to stakeholder communications and reputation management.

For long-term engagements, Ricochet also organizes an intensive two-week training program to ensure that all team members develop deep, focused expertise on their client's business and the industry landscape. After hours or before work, team members study their client's business at a granular level, leveraging a variety of tools—from text books to analyst reports to special guest speakers at the agency—that enable us to connect with clients and journalists in an informed and dynamic way.

The program is designed and taught by Dr. Nancy Ilaya, Ricochet's Chief Scientific Counsel and Director of Education.
